Simple Funerals

If you think that your loved one wouldn’t have liked a fuss, then consider opting for one of our simple funeral services. A simple service from Alderson’s Family Funerals offers you a modest and affordable way to pay your respects to a loved one, without the need for any unnecessary extras.

A simple service will include a comfortable and secure resting place for the deceased before the funeral, all of the necessary arrangements and documentation taken care of, transport direct to the crematorium or cemetery, and a simple but traditional coffin.

Here at Alderson’s Family Funerals, we believe that every family should be able to bid their loved one farewell in a dignified manner, which is why we have worked hard to create affordable funeral services that include all of the essentials, without any extra expenses.

Alderson’s Family Funerals are based in Durham, but we serve the surrounding areas such as Newton Hall, Belmont and Coxhoe. If you have recently experienced a bereavement but are concerned about the costs that come with a bespoke funeral, talk to a member of our friendly and caring team about our low-cost funerals.

If you would like to see our flower brochure or would like some expert advice from our team, please contact us.
Yes you can, but in order to do this, we will need the deeds or definite confirmation as to the location. Most councils require the deeds or an indemnity signed. There are often strict rules regarding the erection of memorials in churchyards and cemeteries and we can advise you of these at the time.
